Carlos contal gaspi for ESPN from Mexico City with flyweight UFC flyweight uh Tracy Cortez Tracy how you feeling a being here in Mexico oh man I feel amazing it’s an honor being here to see just the grand opening um them cut the Red Ribbon it was it was incredible and being invited here is just something that it’s Unforgettable it’s history you obviously trained in the Las Vegas facility for the performance Institute what do you think of the facility here especially uh now that you’ve been coming to Mexico like to see your your family and everything it’s is is there a chance for you like to come here maybe do a camp like a high altitude Camp here at the pi oh well you know that’s that’s a goal that’s a big goal of mine and um we’ll just have to wait and see well uh big questions everyone has when when do you want to come back obviously uh carard like this would have been great for you but when do you want to come back maybe no again because that was that was great for you right obviously obviously no um UFC’s is is a big goal of mine but I recently am dealing with some new injuries injuries um got a in a pretty bad accident and I’m just healing the concussion healing the injuries that were caused by that uh accident so hopefully fingers crossed pretty soon um it all really depends in in what the doctor say and what my team says and whenever obviously I feel fully healed but no time no timeline J right I no not I mean we’re something’s in the works something’s in the works and we’re uh we’re just being patient and we’re waiting well let’s see and uh obviously we’re here we have big card on Saturday two five Runners Main and comain event what do you think uh the fight the both those fights are going to go and especially the car has a lot of Mexicans a lot of Latino Talent some Mexican born some Mexican Americans like like yourself so what do you think about this big car they have on Saturday I’m cheering for everyone I think it’s going to be an incredible card I think it’s it’s I mean everything said and done Mexicans and Mexican Americans we’re all Latin I myself a Latina um Our Roots R very very deep and we’re very proud as a Mexican-American and I just think Saturday night Saturday nights can just be fireworks yeah it seems the atmosphere is going to be great it’s going to be a Sal out Arena on Saturday thanks a lot Tracy and hope to hear about that news soon thank you thank you so much for having me
