[Music] we are here at the state-of-the-art HSS Sports Rehab and performance center we’re going to be doing a tour of all the fun and exciting stuff they have here let’s go have a seat right there for me all right we’re going to use some light energy here so you got something that’s causing a lot of swelling we’re going to get all those good healing cells to that area try to flush out all the bad stuff it’s warm yet soothing what the light is doing even though you feel the warmth right we’re promoting all those good healing cells and we’re kind of giving them a kick in the rear end so I’m going to set you up on our normat Tech boots here we’re going to zip your legs up each one’s going to fill up with air we’re trying to get all that swelling and all that inflammation down from the feet this is trying to flush it all out for you you kind of speed up that recovery process for yourself cool man pump me up let’s get this party thought and what are we doing here Jessica so we’re going to use Blood Flow Restriction the whole idea is to get muscle hypertrophy so less oxygen the muscle has to work harder so it’s just another tool in our toolbox to help you and all of our patients kind of recover and most importantly get back to the things that they love doing I feel the tightness with the excellent it’s it’s supposed to feel like that yes yep yeah it might feel just a little bit sore and you might be sore later just like with any good workout you know the pool’s really good to use as a recovery tool or less impact if you had some heavy days you can definitely do a lighter day and get a really good workout Cannonball not yet let’s walk in backwards Safety First how deep is this I’m a only 56 oh look at this keep going we’re going to go hard and fast for 15 seconds exercising could be exercising in a pool is excellent very very interesting stuff I had so much fun thank you HSS
