it’s good had a nice busy day laugh some interviews and stuff so yeah I’ve enjoyed little day you’re a very busy man since the last time we spoke you got married you have twins on away with your your lovely wife what’s changed for you since the last time uh you know we’ve all seen you yeah the two biggest things I got married and May and then Lally found out I was having twins a couple of weeks ago so yeah me home life changing moving out soon as well so my home life changing a lot at the minute but busy busy busy weeks do you feel any different now that you’re a married man and and you’re gonna be a dad no not really just still the same that that might change when uh when the kids arrive I think uh I think you wrote in May right there that’s the delivery date yeah that that will change when the kids arrive definitely especially when there’s two of them are you excited yeah I am very excited trying to balance the excitement with uh I guess preparation during a training camp yeah you’re not run there hopefully I can get a fight in before it as well to be honest okay so this is a big one UFC 296 Las Vegas December 16th last card of the Year Tony Ferguson’s a legend he’s goingon to be the guy that’s goingon to be looking across from the Octagon from you how do you feel about about this fight it’s a it’s a big fight you know what I mean the biggest fight in me life fighting an absolute legend of the sport know what I mean he’s one of the top five lightweights of all time me he was under 12 F wiy he’s Brant fight and he’s got a great personality as well hasn’t he so um I can’t wait to share the off with such a legend Tony Ferguson obviously like you said he had one of the longest winning streaks in lightweight history fought and beaten a lot of the guys that that came before a little bit on maybe the downside now right you know losing streak he’s a little bit older you know he’s in his late 30s a lot of people have said like maybe this is a lose lose situation for for Patty said this myself in other interviews this is a lose lose situation I sure like to saying it this is a lose lose situation for me because when I beat him people are gonna be like oh Tony was finished anyway know what I mean he needed to retire anyway but if the UN thinkable and to do lose that be like being be finish Stony Pon so you know it’s one of them it is a lose lose situation but at the same time I’ve told you before and I’ll say it again I’m never taking down a fight whatever fight gets offered to me I take and I got off to Tony FAS and so L how do you how do you kind of change that perception that it’s a lose lose like how how do you because it is still Tony Ferguson yes he’s older yes he’s on a losing streak but it’s Tony Ferguson he’s a dangerous guy yeah he is a very dangerous guy you know what I mean he can finish anyone like as I said this is someone else today even in the fights that he’s lost on the six fight losing see you nearly finished Justin Gage in the second round nearly finished Michael Chand in the first round he dropped Bobby being in the first round so th as of all of these fights he’s being absolutely dominated do do you feel like he’s kind of on the downside a little bit but you can’t really prepare as if he is that right yeah of course on a little bit of he 39 years of age old I mean like you only see people fighting to that age in like the heavyweight and like heavyweight divisions because the don’t have to be as fast they don’t lose the speed as much where you can I can see Tony slowed down a bit you know what I mean you can tell he’s not as fast as he was his reactions aren quite dead and his balance has gone a bit but it’s still so F still a for in the lightweight champion of the world and someone who’s got the longest win seon lightweights history he’s training now with David gogins who is kind of a Marvel when it comes to endurance will determination have you seen these videos because they’re they’re somewhat controversial I’ve seen some CR criticisms of of these videos have you seen this and what do you think yeah I think it’s it’s just crazy it’s wild you know what I mean it’s that’s like what people used to do in 1998 when we was on like UFC 41 you know what I mean like that’s just that’s just completely irrelevant nowadays saying like that like you can tell by to look on son’s face that it’s it’s hating him you know what I mean I think he’s going to be over coming into this fight and he’s it’s going to be even easier for me to finish him because he’s been doing this week with Goin do do you see any way how that could help him I mean he’s already kind of known for mental toughness oh the only way it helps him really is his mental mental toughness and his cardio and there are two things that Tony’s never ever struggled with Tony’s always had great cardio and he’s always he’s always been mentally T I mean just look at the Char ol I mean Hees he doesn’t need any more he’s already got I just don’t understand why he’s do it it might be better for his own head than his own head as I say I condition my it’s from a scientific point of view every we have reasons be I mean so 9,000 runes isn’t G you beat me Dana White said that if if Tony Ferguson does not win on December 16th that could be it for him in the UFC so it’s it’s very much a Crossroads fight for him and I guess someone would say it’s a Crossroads fight for you in some aspects do would you agree with that really don’t know don’t care not ask I’m focused on winning me fight have you thought at all about like the trajectory because obvious L you you’ve been on this crazy rise right you know your popularity has grown so much over the last few years and then you have but you haven’t fought in a little bit the Jared Gordon fight probably W didn’t go the way that some might have thought probably not you wanted it to go any thoughts on that and what the trajectory is now same at was keep winning fights mean keep winning fights the anank that’s that’s it know what I mean people can say what you want love the J fights the only three people want opinion about the three judges what was and all three of for me have you made any adjustments any any tweaks in the last year of course I’ve made lots of adjustments but I can’t really goord I have to get mean fully like I three different on after fight after messing it up in the first round that’s what proper annoys me about that fight no one mention took a full ankle ligament reconstruction on the inside of his anle the outside of his ankle on the middle and that happened in the first round know I mean and I still beat 100% now fully I don’t think it% again I’m kicking people in the face with so did you watch Jared Gordon’s fight over the weekend in New York I know I haven’t watched it but I’m happy for him glad Char’s a nice person he a nice fell he deserves to get as much money as he possibly can so I mean obviously that he’s still going on he won the fight because it’s know I mean you never won mate simple as that like I’ve watched the fight back several times myself and I just don’t understand how people can caller F of Roby you know what I mean it’s a close fight it is I watch it back it’s a very close fight I think the only clear defensive round for anyone is the second for me you know what I mean I think the third and the first can go either way depending on how you score a fight I feel like if the C the circumstances were different you and Jared would probably be good friends you talked about mental health quite a lot you know he has those struggles from the past where he was he was a drug addict and he’s overcome those I think that maybe if fight you guys would be friends yeah definitely as I say after the fight sat in the cas I give him a UG and a kiss and all that in it was there was no ill will all the Char until after the fight when like he was he went on a press tour basically saying that he won the fight I mean and being robbed just because like it was it was a close fight left I mean it was a close fight I’ve watched the back several times was a very close fight it’s it’s however you score first and thir round but what jar doesn’t ever say is if you watch that fight back and listen to his Corner his Corner tell him you need this play round you need this third round and he told him before the he told him at the end of the first round know he took that round so with his corner for I won the face and I definitely won the second because I W on every scor card obviously he needed to finish me in the third and that’s the way I went into that third round thinking my ankle is finished here I can just like whatever he does here I can just rest a little bit and I can win this fight because I’m already two rounds off and I was on two score cards I was two rounds up on two score cards already so when he pushed me against the cage and just help me there was like yeah s and then even that third round he didn’t do nothing he just Hold Me Against the Cage like at the end of that Rend on his back I ended uping punches I think what was significant how can you win how can youn Jesus Christ I didn’t look good at all mean so I can understand all you got to do is look at that last fight because J doesn’t really have much power and he with a lot of left CS me I was e left go for days and I understand people who have got more power thinking there I’ll I’ll be able to catch him and knock him out and glad I’ve got more followers than most people in the UFC mean I was looking at all the Champions the day I’ve got more followers the most Champions so I can understand why people are calling me out I mean really can like sort of funny day for me he was getting he mentioned me any who who who I’m the person you’ve been begging to fight for a year mate that’s who I am you’ve been begging to fight me for a year and it’s un ly now because you just had your CH off with a K so you’re not GNA be fighting me now are you I feel I feel like it’s like a lot like Conor McGregor during his rise everyone called that guy out because he was so popular and people thought that maybe he wasn’t as good as his popularity yeah and that’s obviously taking on my last performance that wasn’t good I’m I’m gonna be honest that was not a good performance obviously when I watched that fight back I was like w yeah understand people giving me know what I mean I didn’t the best play I left me wide open but for me that’s an inter fight me I like going in there and put on a show for the fans and I thought that was a good fight when I watch theart from the thir round but that wasn’t me I didn’t push J against the cage for five minutes he pushed me against the cage I wanted have intense Entertainer fight every time I get in the cage I want I I want Sony to come out and have a bra with me I want to war I want to look like Anthony PS at the end of the fight with Tony Ferguson and I want to make and I want to make Tony look like he did against G I want to walk really so you’re gonna you’ll engage in that in that brawl yeah I want a war with Tony I want him to bite down on his gun field and swing with me and we’ll see you still SP well wellow how many times would you say you watched that Jared Gordon fight back wow how recently watch I don’t go over I don’t go over it that much know I mean I didn’t watch it I watched it like two days later and then I watched it like a couple of about six months later after me said and then I watched it in the summer and then I watched it again about two months ago and again feel me heading my people say that I fight Roby there being so many way robberies that people don’t s and people mention me just because it’s me just because I have as you say I’m not popular I have that many followers people talk about that fight just because it’s me that was not a Rob that’s a close fight that could have went out way if I would have been on the losing end of that decision it would have been like when I watched it back yeah know what I mean could have went out way but because of certain content creator came out and said oh that’s a robbery everyone jumped on the bandwagon know what I mean everyone jumped on I hanging FR what was easy to jump on the ha wagon so everyone did it know I mean and now a year later people are starting to realiz I told everyone a year ago so you know I’m always right M I know last thing we mentioned all the call outs it’s even extended into people who are not in the sport of MMA Jake Paul has called you out I saw Dylan danis even called you out recently a couple days ago what is going on here Dylan bis man Dylan Krab he’s a crab three more punches at security guard and he did that Logan Paul and he’s talking about fighting me is he for real has he been smoking CRA like hat messy on his life again Jak Paul Paul say what he wants you know where I am know what I mean I’ll fight any of them in in
