[Music] Dr marks is a huge part of this partnership between HSS and the UFC I want to find out more about that partnership how it got started how he got started in his business we’ve been working with UFC for a few years now and I’m very proud of being Affiliated particularly because of the athletes the UFC athletes are a different breed to be able to do what you guys do just requires a different type of person and I respect that and I’m proud to be part of UFC it’s the major mixed martial arts organization in the world HSS has a similar reputation we like to think so Matt we like to think we’re at the top of the Heap of sports medicine and orthopedic surgery you see combat athletes obviously like what other athletes do you have I’m also involved taking care of professional hockey players I work with the uh hockey team at the Garden also personally as being a patient at HSS and had a full knee replacement as important important as it is for me to walk it’s equally as important for me to be on the mats doing Jiu-Jitsu a life without that would have been devastating I’m happy you guys are partnered up with UFC too so doc there’s a rumor you’re from Canada is that true what part of Canada yeah I’m originally from Montreal Matt and it’s it’s it’s funny you bring that up because of course you became UFC champion yes by defeating Canada’s Pride Montreal’s Pride jar S Pier yes I did beat George St Pierre but may I add that I did lose the rematch and I lost the rematch in Montreal I’ve been in New Yorker for 25 years now so I’m winning on both sides man you were Switzerland in that in that fight you were staying neutral it was great to talk to Dr marks what a great guy the UFC is so lucky to have him even though he was probably rooting against me in my second fight with GSP I’m not holding it against him thank you Dr Mo and thank you HSS
