it’s been all respect from Cole Young in the lead-up tonight’s Showdown with Jules Scott but the veteran from New Orleans Ninth Ward believes he will show young that there are levels to this game a move to the welterweight division proved to be just what the doctor ordered for New Orleans native Jules Scott as he picked up his third power slap win in May by defeating Andrew fields that bit of business done Scott is now the sixth ranked 170 pounder in the world and Rising fast as he approaches tonight’s matchup with Cole Young firmly entrenched in the top five New York young knows that he may be giving up the edge and experience to Scott but with the tools he brings to the stage he is more than confident that he will send his opponent crashing to an emphatic defeat coming up next Cold full sen young faces Jewel kid Diamond Scott [Applause] and here is Jules Scott these fighter walkouts brought to you by 10x World 10x your business 10x your income 10x your life go to 10 x world.com since his last match he’s been training almost all slap stuff been doing Olympic lifts rotational hit circuit training really focused on getting stronger as the 38 year old from New Orleans yeah said his numbers in the camera through the roof now you know I’m coming into this one feels very very prepared and very confident he said listen all of my opponents they kind of quit he said they choose not to get up he said Provost quit Anthony Green quit he said last time out Andrew Fields he refused to let me slap him because if you recall he got he flicked three times so he then he got disqualified he said everybody is scared of my power and let’s be honest Jewel Scott he does pack a slap he’s got a lot of Combat Sports Experience I’m very confident coming into this matchup three kids couple of teenagers watching at home seeing what happens tonight as he takes on this man Cole Young calm full Sanchez 26 years old from Hornell New York hurt his hand a little bit says it’s feeling great and this is what else he told us Michael he said I didn’t wear shoes last time yep and I re-watched the broadcast and I heard what you guys said and I’m wearing shoes tonight it’s idiotic not to wear shoes they give you tractions they give you grip which equals four Force more power into the strike that you deliver now he’s been here three times now he’s got a knockout he’s got a draw and he’s had a loss coming into this one though he feels you know like all of these guys they’re getting better every single time they’re understanding the game more and as you know about Chris uh Cole Young part of me you know he he’s got a very interesting backstory he’s a taxidermist he’s a hunter and he’s also a father to his young son that has this terrible condition called CDG but right now doing very very well you know he goes through Cycles some UPS some bounce some Downs right now he’s suddenly he’s doing very very well shout out to Young Cal of course he has that condition CDG so uh terrible stuff but here he’s uh very confident in this one I’m looking forward to it time Hunter have been working on deer food plots for the last couple months as we take a look at the tail of the tape you can see that Cole Young is the taller man but it’s Jules Scott the plus 105 dog this one’s pretty even with a two inch reach advantage over the young up-and-comer Cole Young let’s send it to our power slap announcer Justin Bernard ladies and gentlemen this matches three rounds in the power slap welterweight division introducing first in the blue corner he stands five feet seven inches tall weighing in at 169 and one half pounds out of Ninth Ward New Orleans Louisiana [Music] and now in the Red Corner he stands five feet 11 inches tall weighing in officially at 170 pounds out of Hornell New York he is a number four ranked welterweight contender in the world Cole said [Music] and when the action begins your referee in charge Jason Herzog winner of the coin toss and striking first Jewel Scott all right here we go it’s the OT against the Young up-and-comer remember early on Jewel Scott was the one a lot of people started emulating his style I thought they told me to hear and he actually relishes that he loves the fact that people have been confident yeah I believe you know he considers to himself spearheaded a lot of these techniques that we’re seeing and this is a new approach he’s gonna very very wide stance right now training a lot he hasn’t been working as much spent more time in the gym look at this here we go down low [Applause] colion just takes a look around as they have to say is that it is that all you’ve got you talk all this game and you give me a little tickle here’s a good shot look at the anticipation on call Young’s Jason look how low this is how low can you go no no money he’s jumping up and down he’s loving this [Music] is one of the contestants last time they were saying do you understand English I don’t remember who told us young hash oh look at Jewel Scott’s face lips are 49 00:06:42,0 –> 00:06:47,120 no flinch takes Aiden nicely took it well he just brushes it off look at these two look at the eyes [Applause] you said that he died I think it is the thumb brother see it’s the thumb kind of caught him clean slab yes he is the black fingernail polish ones brushing off that slap two solid slaps in the first round from these guys as we move on to the second so this is slap number two for Jewel Scott remember they’re three rounds right hand no I would say right now to Jewel Scott in round one there moves thank you here we go that was massive Joe Scott said to him don’t you have to move right before he slaps him in the face I think his face is already starting to smell up a little bit um [Applause] saw the strap coming closed his eyes nothing nearer stayed right now that rocks are pretty good you can see that eye was just kind of rolling around just a tiny bit another connection brilliant I love our reaction I thought camera guys are so good I’m pretty back there in the control room fellas ladies and gentlemen all right let’s see what Cole Young has here a lot of times yeah that’s right that’s what they tell us after receiving a big blowing round one they’re never the same you can’t get it together but let’s see we’ll call you has right now he’s kind of chuckling pivoted again man what the this 97 00:09:02,820 –> 00:09:08,580 so the referee is calling a clubbing foul so vast majority of the time nah it’s falling apart right now for Cole Young so look again it looks like yeah yeah he just landed kind of right there with the wrist more so than the ham yeah let’s take a look from this angle and it’s almost on the neck as well so a little uh off Target there and again we always say it’s just as important yeah from that angle there you could clearly see I mean that kind of Club the neck as opposed to the jaw getting it on target not fouling just as important as generating as much power three because I would say that Jewel Scott actually why are you feeling round they set right here Chin’s good what hand what counts right hand right hand on three shots nervous smile on Young’s face go oh I saw you have serious contact serious contact he smiled he could not careless [Music] blow windup hold on we’re talking about a stat I don’t know about a stat more like a joke yeah well that flips completely off the ground he’s only five foot seven he needs a stepladder off right they just roll off get up there you need a you need to stick there’s a stick there you go Kerry thanks Gary in the boxer in the box right on three you’re gone he needs a knockout and he’s all up for it he’s not messing around right on three let’s go cold let’s see what he got Kenny needs a knockout in a big way there’s one there’s two get ready [Music] I don’t know if that’s a club it might have been a tiny bit high but yeah it’s not a club but it wasn’t exactly on the cheek I guess it was higher but that’s not against him look at this Michael I don’t know how high it is that’s high that’s that’s it’s on the temple almost yeah and that is actually detrimental to what you’re trying to do anyway when you hit somebody on the jaw you’ve got a way higher possibility of rocking them and knocking them out putting them to sleep when you hit up high yeah you’re landing on the skull you know of course it’s going to hurt the eyes tearing a bicep very react reaction three let’s go I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to not have fouls they’re still trying to figure out if it was a club but I don’t think it’s gonna matter either way because Jules Scott certainly had the slaps that did more damage yeah regardless the match is over now and I think Jewel Scott is only a few a few seconds away from being declared the winner by a decision get that ice on your brother yeah nice [Music] here’s another look this is that third round slap it was high yeah I mean the Palm was right on the eyeball yep still trying to figure it out Jason Herzog Carrie Hatley you know in traditional martial arts a palm strike is actually a very very powerful blow the Palm is a tough part of the body and you can actually knock people out with the Palm as we’ve seen many times so that’s why the clubbing is such a you know such a big foul yeah I think that’s our best look right there here’s another one that kind of displays the yeah landing spot the Palm clearly connected first in my opinion as I say I’m not trying to kick Cole Young when he’s down because I’m a big fan of the guy what we’re going to call it like we see it that to me looks like a club yep I would agree they’re still trying to sort it out right now but I think any way you slice it let’s just say theoretically there was no penalty there and now apparently they are discussing from Jewel Scott Jewel Scott won the first round and on your scorecard 10-9 Jules Scott won the second round yes 10-8 with the pointed let’s just say hypothetically they call a Flinch here I don’t think they call a club I don’t know if I really see a Flinch I don’t see a flage granted I’m not known for my vision but I don’t see a Flinch though but I think if you do the math either way it’s Jewel Scott getting his hand raised yeah in the words of din Thomas irregardless it doesn’t matter [Laughter] here’s another look I don’t see a flange no Flinch at all I don’t see it if anything it might be an actual a stat from Cole Young now they’re wearing different shoes here these are more form-fitting shoes you’re allowed an inch right and you’re allowed just kind of like a little tiny tiny pivot but not a whole lot still sorting things out this is the replay light that all right let’s take a look at uh how things went down here let’s look at the first round Michael yes a jewel Scott as I said I scored this a 10-9 look at the the wheel or the wind of the jewel skull has it was a better blow neither man was particularly hurt Cole Young had a good response but not as much impact so I gave the first round we see it there Jules Scott took that no problem moving on to round two can do the same thing the same technique from Jewel going down really low really driving through and we see the pain straight away on the face of Cole Young and then once again when it was his turn swing and land and blow not as much pop and there was a foul as well so we got a pointy doctors so that’s 10A dual Scott Here’s the final one that was a good one really good connection and then here’s the one that really hurt Jewel Scott the potential Club and then ultimately I’m hearing that they are not taking a point they’re not calling get a foul so if you don’t call that a foul do you give that do you do you give that round to Cole Young yes I give that round to Carl Jung it wasn’t a foul it was a fair blow according to the judges and the referees he knocked him down he did a lot of damage so if for my money Cole Young clearly won round three but I still don’t think it’s enough once they tally the scorecards yeah I think you’re gonna be right I think essentially it’s going to come down to round one where Cole Young did not land yeah his strongest strike I mean listen if we’re scoring it like UFC and it’s on damage Cole Young did the more damage the most damage the eye is nasty on Jewel Scott yeah it’s a has a little mouse underneath pretty swollen side of the head swollen too Jules Scott from New Orleans Louisiana 38 years one of the older competitors one of the more seasoned competitors that we have in powerslap I’ll tell you what first decision of the night though we have been flying through these fights a lot of action there’s your scorecard Bisping and I agree with you every step of the way here yes self-explanatory to be honest you know I think it’s clearly evident Scott landed the bigger blow in rounds one and two plus the point deduction for calling them round three yeah of course Cole Young responded in a great way clearly won round three too little too late though all right let’s send it to Justin Bernard to make this one official ladies and gentlemen after three rounds we go to the judge’s scorecards for decision all three judges for the contest 29 27 for the winner by unanimous decision [Applause] [Music] [Applause] I’m coming kid Diamond Jules Scott improving to four and two in power slap has now won back-to-back fights good sportsmanship here and we asked him about Cole Young he said nothing bad to say I’m gonna knock him out didn’t knock him out but he does get the win says everybody quits against him I’ll tell you one thing Cole Young is not gonna do he ain’t gonna quit he didn’t do it tonight he’s never gonna quit he’s got a very very good reason to be here just like all of them but Jill Scott walks out here a winner let’s take another look at some of the action once again Jewel Scott bringing it from down low and driving right through the face let’s take a look at every shot that he landed tonight some good form good technique massive power hey good chin on Cole Young though David solid blows and you know he hardly took a backward step and now the Winner’s Jewel Scott gets to talk to Charlie Michael thank you so much first thing that Jules Scott asked me was how do I look and the answer is you look fabulous my friend swollen eye and all but you got the win I think you can try to get brownie points but it’s all right how are you feeling right now I know that was a little bit of an aggravating match for you but you looked really good you looked very dominant on offense and defense uh thank you I’ve been working really really really hard uh I didn’t take any time off after the last fight I just kept training I was very familiar with uh Cole I watched it when he first came on the scene I was also very leer about him hitting eyes so uh kind of sad I called got my I called but it’s all good I was gonna say you were correct in assuming that might be the case but what was your feeling when Cole Young actually came over and congratulating you congratulated you on your really powerful second shot uh he’s actually just a really nice guy uh before the fight he was always nice uh you know competition uh brings out the monster in me so um I’m here to eat people uh we can be friends after okay so talking about eating people we kind of heard you mutter something up there like I’m coming for and we didn’t catch the rest of it who are you coming for uh Chris Thomas ass yeah I sent me a message earlier today uh saying some personal things uh you know we were kind of friends uh in the house he he said some things uh uh that I shared in secret uh or in private uh but in a malicious way so uh the friendly is over I’m here I’m coming to smash his ass right I like the attitude and I think now it’s time to go get some ice on that eye but huge congratulations nice work out there thank you so much always pleasure to talk to you you as well guys back to you all right Charlie thank you very much back to back wins for kid Diamond Jules Scott things are definitely heating up here in Las Vegas power slap four live in three on Rumble
