Newly crowned heavyweight champ Damien Dibbell reacted to his Power Slap 2 victory over The Wolverine on Wednesday.
uh honestly it’s kind of heavy you know it’s you know it’s kind of hurting the shoulder a little bit you know I’m waiting for someone to come take it from me already it was honestly kind of it was a great experience because I got to learn from Ron and we got to you know help each other out playing the pro training programs for the guys and we actually made ourselves better throughout that and you know it just got to bounce back and learn techniques and everything and we got pretty close over those three weeks honestly I expected a lot more stumbling I expected TKO maybe you know I joked about the round one KO but I definitely was at least expecting a TKO honestly the ash was just power yes there’s no way I was beating him on technique he’s been doing this for years longer than I have so I’ve hammered down and I’ve just been get trying to make myself as powerful as I can flexible so I could provide you know actually transmit that power without moving my feet and just doing whatever I can to get that small Edge over him I feel like if I had just one more good one that I might have done it but you know it is what it is I still want at the end of the day and I’m so thankful for the opportunity honestly it’s been a crazy Journey you know we we started this in a way smaller scale and now we’re over here in Las Vegas fighting in front of thousands and thousands of people so it’s it’s been a great journey and great transition and I’m glad to be a part of it just do your best man it’s going to take a lot to come take me down
