congratulations to you Martin I know after the last fight you were so happy with the hard work you’d put in and didn’t like the result you put all that same hard work in for this one has to feel pretty rewarding to walk away with the submission Victory here tonight against taiu iasa yeah it is it is also this is my first uh win in a main event and I love it I really happy that you know we didn’t go five rounds and it was brwl right away and you know that brings lots of emotion I was very tough in this one also and you know that’s tastes even double because you know of the winning against that that kind of you know tough fighter yeah well it’s your fifth win in Las Vegas you’re lucky place you got married here that luck continues on St Patrick’s Day weekend a few stitches you got there I was I think it was an elbow that caught you there early uh you told me before this fight that you would be able to assess the power of taiu iasa after you fought him how was his power it was it was huge I mean uh just knew I have to be a little bit more balanced because I was thinking that I would receive some anyway so I didn’t want to be like stiff there and uh receiving them uh there was a brawl and I don’t remember everything I just you know feel the blood uh coming down to my eyes and I knew that now it’s it’s time to go forward it’s it’s not backing down because you know this uh injury might might stop me from from the fight once you got the back he G he gave up the mount then gave up the choke were you surprised that he wasn’t like trying to fight you off him more or was that just a matter of you didn’t give him a chance uh you know I I think he was trying I was more surprised that I was punching him with hard punches and he didn’t like he didn’t know take like care at all about single of them of it and yeah so I knew the coaches screaming me to you know to transition to choking I did and you know it took me a while but I hear the he’s uh getting out a little bit and I saw him making noises his skin changing colors and I still feel like I have more power to apply I did and make that finish you did he did he did he tap or did his arm just go out what was it I don’t remember I don’t remember I just feel like I just see like a a referee coming up and try to pull his arm up and maybe he just felt like he he’s getting out that’s why I don’t know in terms of what’s next for you uh you know obviously at the top of this you know this division you’ve got Jon Jones Ste you’ve got Tom Aspen as the interim champion who would you like to face could it be like a Serial gone could that be a good fit for you next it is yeah why not I I would appreciate to fight uh such a opponent right now uh but you know I didn’t bring any names right now because uh you know coming out the LW so I just really want to focus on getting back on a winning streak and uh I don’t have any name but the one that you bring is perfect works for you well congratulations on a great win another one in Las Vegas for you [Applause] [Music] Marine
