going first to hike it or I think we will check in you sign some holsters they’ll give you the whole like schedule and then we’ll go to the equipment room turn all that stuff I’m going to drive she’s tough feeling man especially if when things go south a little bit you know it’s too emotional right there right it’s okay you know it wasn’t really a big change or a big deal aljo was going to be my corner my dad’s okay with that everybody’s cool with that and that city is going to sit back relax and enjoy his son dream come true honestly it’s something I’ve worked for my entire life there’s not a place I’d rather be having the team that I have is definitely a comfort it’s a motivation this fight is going to go very very well for him I think it’s going to be a shout out with the Striking and if he needs to wrestle he’s going to show that he can wrestle as well you know when you step in the cage you step in alone however having those guys around you at that level that have been there you know that everything that you’re feeling is something that they went through probably over a hundred times combined all right when they call your name to go out to the fight you don’t think much you don’t want to even stop for more than a few seconds I even tell the ref hey uh I just need 10 and I’m ready to go stay here the fight resumes and we go right back to action give the wrong Australian finish fight right back to work incredible first round second round coming up I go to my corner Ray tells me it was a close round you might have lost it either way I want you to pick it up in the second round don’t make it harder than yourself come on you could outbox this guy easy round two we both come out guns blazing fights on we’re in a firefight we’re exchanging big shots he comes forward with his forehead and ends up catching me on the eyebrow with the with the headbutt I can’t tell if I’m cut open or not I touch my eyebrow to see if there’s a blood or not and towards the end of the second round I see him slowing down a little bit I see him getting tired and the second round continued just like the first we’re in for a barn burner in round three after this good luck judges [Applause] oh baby he’s right there put a couple of punches together Steve Steve round three begins and everything I throw is with financing intention there’s a moment where he is picking his head up and I land a big knee yes nice that’s it I knew that it definitely did some damage I see the cut on his eyebrow I see that it’s big I land a big knee to the body and the ref separates the fight the doctor comes out we gotta stop there okay they take one look at the cut and they called the fight off right away a part of me is very happy of course another part of me is unfulfilled because I wanted to keep going into that firefight I felt the tide was going definitely my momentum I was leading up to my best moments and my best round in the fight where it wouldn’t be so back and forth but it would be more in my favor first UFC win baby first UFC win first of many buddy you know you know I never stopped get my first win I’m backstage I’m with my team we’re celebrating my pop my pop comes through it’s it’s a great moment sharing the moment with him uh it was it was touching my son when he won this fight this battle and I’m very proud the pressure was on you had to step up to the plate and we did My ultimate goal is definitely to be a UFC champion and wear that trap around my waist I think this win opens up a lot of opportunities for me every fight from here on out is going to be bigger and bigger and bigger
