uh go time like straight straight back into Camp is it mad like when you do because it was it like 21 hours for me um that might be uh yeah that’s a bit far it’s well like 12 is a 12 hour flight to L.A and then like an hour flight to so yeah it’s about it’s about 21. so um yeah door-to-door you know yeah I’m saying uh is it like do you get affected by the trailer to fly that far not to Vegas that’s like the funny things like that compared with uh London London it’s like just a cakewalk yeah it’s funny to um it’s funny like once your experienced that like jet lag and getting over it and getting through it and because fight we first come over and there was like navo he’s like young fellow first time he left the country he came with us to like New Jersey and he I thought of him I felt great I felt fine getting off the plane I was like I know what to do with and what time you know just watching them be like Oh I’m tired like you can you can see him you’re like man you yeah it’s like a skill yeah to be able to um just work your way through through like legit leg and stuff like that so when he landed last night what did you end up doing um well a bit of cheeseburger or two and then uh went straight to bed I went to church in the morning yeah and now we’re here at Pub talk we’re back baby 25 25. with your fighting path that is definitely like perfect venue and they come to you even off yet have they even got to book in that card yet still a little bit well they’re all kinds like Booker I think they’re yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah that card’s like that card’s chocolate they’ve saved me like a spot they’ve talked they’ve told me that they’re saving me a spot for Perth um I just needed like the medical clearance yeah for for um for Perth because I felt fine like I was I felt fine that obviously put you on like a medical suspension like anything after the fight they take you out back to the medical team they Chuck you on suspension I was on like 180 they clear it so I needed an MRI to get cleared they did the MRI on my leg on my knee and they said they said there was two there was two fractures in my legs and then so everyone the doctor the physio like don’t do anything don’t do anything I was like well I feel fine you know I was still like a little like upper body weights and stuff for like a week week and a half and then I went and saw The Specialist and once he actually like show me the MRI and explained it to me he said he said he shook my hand he looked me in the eye and he wished me luck with her he said heaps of time no he like explained it like that’s that’s everyone that’s like how you leave that’s how your knee works like that like he just pulled it like this is in your fight with his pulled it like that way so like this phone like pushed into that bone and it just dented both bones so on the MRI like they they the doctors in there can only read like the report so a report came and said it’s like fractured but it’s just like it’s just it’s just dense and your reaction while that was happening I want to see it I want to see it and I was like uh well the specialist explained to me is like well you got your wall he’s like there’s a couple cracks in your jib there’s a few holes in your gym you go spit your walls are absolutely fine so he cleared me I spied the next day I was back at it thornhill’s friends doing everything uh um green light baby yeah boy when did when do you need to know an opponent by oh there’s three times yeah I suppose if you don’t give a [ __ ] here like Ash and um huge they do my management now like 10 piece man like they they saw so they’re oh it’s like completely out of my hands now so like every day I just Hound Ash and I send them I’ve been sending them um you know those the Pablo Escobar standing around yeah every day every day I sit up and you wanna probably has come up just sitting around doing [ __ ] away you don’t care who it is do you do you care if it’s right yeah he asked me he goes do you care because who do you want to fight I say I don’t care yes yeah but like anyway I said absolutely anyone yeah it’s a weird one right because I don’t know how many guys would want to travel to Perth together funny that’s the funny part about it like it’s like Moy Plano saying like one one of his coaches can’t get there so he’s off yeah you know what I mean like oh getting on there by myself going oh well [ __ ] we’ll see how this goes yeah my Carly would have been a good one as well same card it would have made sense but they just like I it’s a way I guess it would take us sort of certain sort of someone to want it it’s uh and then the money is saying there’s oh then if you only paid 20 there’s a uh foreign performer in Australia so he gets tax less you have to pay over his what 33 federal tax so he gets it’s like 15 less than Vegas okay and he’s saying oh no it’s the money you know the crocodiles and she’s like ah nah nah you’re out go away you’re out get out I’m trying to figure who else would be a logical fight but I guess it’s that we spoke about this before where if someone phrase your name your answer is yes but I assumed that it would be more suitors yeah I assume more people yeah it’s a weird one I kind of thought so too because for a while there everyone would everyone everyone hated you ever wanted to [ __ ] fight you yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I guess yeah that’s just the position that’s just the position and like I’ve always said it’s just um like the risk has to be worth the rewards like it obviously seems like there’s no you guys above me yeah which I cannot not a lot of people are sad less Fighters yeah yeah like bad stuff happens and you’re just like ah explode I think he’s just really good at dealing with emotions and he can see it for what it is he sees it like he knows he’ll come back he knows he’ll gonna like another title show you know it just makes this for him it just makes the storyline better yeah which is like the funny thing about it and it is fighting like these things do happen so I remember at the post white press conference a reporter was saying to Dana like you know if you don’t give Israel the rematch how are you going to keep him motivated and I wanted to be like it’s not like that he’s getting the rematch what are we talking about like it’s just such a weird thing what are you making a slap fighting you know initially initially I was like sky’s the place like you just letting another guy slap yeah whatever and then I watched uh then I watched the real then I watched the Highlight Reel and I watched oh I got invested I got emotionally invested in the guys there was the check and she was like look up and abused my whole life what’s a slap you know and I was like oh yeah Karen well I’m on board with this the guy’s like they’re selling the storylines yeah they got storylines between behind each fighter I love it I’m a Vista I’ll watch take my money I got to uh I’ll buy the first pay for you I believe they will be hey you give me from you give me tickets I’ll be there they had an event here in Vegas to do it the slap fighting like they wanted to test out test like how it would look in production and stuff and they invited a few people to go and they had an open bar oh the first one and I got [ __ ] so drunk oh dirty pigs yeah at the slab fight yeah what else are you supposed to do at slap fighting somebody even said to the the people around the event like if you have an open bar is there not an internal conversation about whether Oscar should be here or not and then I lived after that but it was I was laughing so hard they had to come over and tell me to quieten down because I was getting picked up by their microphone oh yeah dude because like so you can flip you flip a coin and I love it um dude I had the best time in my life it’s the silly until they kicked me out didn’t like that bit but other than that but you flip a coin um yeah it wasn’t good no I came here um Fighters start getting paid more than we do I’m gonna be like oh yes oh mate I’d hate to see you dude I don’t do that though no obviously obviously I don’t know how much again paid I suspect less I suspectful yeah yeah that’s nice I think what will be interesting is when UFC Lads retire and do you go to pass that that’s a [ __ ] Diego Sanchez that’s a bad place what do we think of changing gears I feel like Gordon’s uh like he’s got a lot of good wins he’s a very skillful fighter um I just feel in terms of like the moment and being able to handle the energy and the pressure of uh packed Arena co-man event pay-per-view I feel like just a little like Penny’s just great at handling that energy I feel like skill for school I feel like Gordon beats him in the gym like nine times out of ten yeah but under those lights pay-per-view that’s yeah the people chiming I feel like patty just handles their energy and and can direct the Liz opponent a lot better so I I think Patty wins is that a skill in itself like the ability to manage that energy sure man for sure you’ll you’ll you’ll run into guys like in the gym thing like kick the little [ __ ] out of you like there’s guys there I’m not gonna say that I don’t get tapped out I don’t get taken down I don’t get like outstruck but it’s like there’s some people you call them like World Championship training Partners like they’ll kick their they’ll kick ass in the gym and then they’ll go to like a local grappling competition with 20 people watching and they’re they’re [ __ ] man they’re full of bits I thought a bit so it’s like crazy to see that’s pretty much like the main thing we’re doing the exact same thing you’re walking uh you’re walking on a bean right and but it’s on the ground yeah yeah now we’re working on a beam 100 meters in the air like now now it’s a different thing like that I’m just I don’t give a [ __ ] with it falling out of space like I’m gonna walk on the it’s just walking on a beam that’s the exact same thing sometimes you fall off you should get to the other side it’s fine I uh before mine uh Teddy Atlas called me I’ve said he said the same views like the mechanics of what you’re doing are exactly the same like the physicality and the repetition of the moves you’re doing exactly the same like the environment is different but if you focus on the mechanics of what you’re doing the same what’s what said I watched the fire and I’m gonna have an amateur fight and I wasn’t going to tell anyone but the fact you told everyone made me feel like I should do that and I said the only reason I told everyone because Dan hooker said you had to put your chips all in yeah you’ve got to go all over yeah and I said I I think you would that you’re absolutely right because I think when you hold chips back like in terms of You Think You’re Gonna Lose it’s not yeah it’s not just like I’m holding his back to not tell anyone it’s like you’re holding chest back in the fight itself because you’re doubting yourself it’s a passive move to not tell anyone it’s a passive movement it’s not it’s not at all a passive Endeavor no you can’t it’s not yeah yeah like it’s yeah you have to you have to slide everything across the table every single time and if you’re not prepared to do it and I think if you I think if you don’t it would show in your performance I actually believe I think so yeah I think as a fighter myself I’m gonna start doing that in my advice I’m gonna start doing that on media days like me and you we get it these guys not a chance no I can say that now no because I’m not a [ __ ] but um no I understand that but like I feel like everyone everyone should have like a fire it’s upstairs the only reason I would say everyone should have a fight is because it’s a very unique and I was like let’s go and then me and him started tour morning this guy I know and then my friend got annoyed at me that I was Landing the better shots so he just turned and hit me and then me and him started fighting and the other guy was like let’s go freaked out of the guy oh yeah yeah I mean yeah yeah we’ll cut that story there in the car on the way here we’re saying like oh um you’re like oh yeah I can’t say that and he was like no I have a filter I should I can manage it mad full-time you do not I do not I uh I saw Thai at the airport oh yeah but I saw him and I was like damn baby his show like you get attention from from going on a show so and he’s like a good dude I only really do interviews with people I like it you know what I mean like people say oh man you do like a lot of interviews but it’s like you know people yeah like you’ll just be like oh then then you want to do pop talk when you’re in Vegas mate and I’m like yeah we’ll smash my talk out you know what I mean right the text messages I get of that first of all Pub talk is about are 30 different ways every time you text it yeah we’ll do pop talk with a W it’s over now talk talk um yeah but the sub the sub
