Mackenzie pavage here in T-Mobile Arena joined by R rosos Jr after short night at the office for you how’s it feel though to get that performance in front of that crowd I feel very blessed um for my comeback you know that was a perfect performance so I’m just grateful I think although we don’t want to highlight or or reflect on losses losses give us the opportunity to see how you react as an athlete how you grow what was the biggest lesson that you learned in the last month since April um I just had to look at the sport different you know um I saw that it was time to take it to the next level so I made a lot of improvements a lot of adjustments and I was able to show it tonight like I said my performance um speaks louder than my words tonight you showed some of it wasn’t much of a a long fight though what was the game plan going into this bout I for sure didn’t expect them to fall down that fast I expected three rounds of War um kind of like the first seconds of the fight I expected the whole fight to be like that just exchang it is grappling exchanges a lot um but the fight ended like that and I’m just grateful that I was able to walk away the same way I Ste it more power behind the hands maybe because of the crowd what was it like to fight on such a historic weekend but in front of the crowd in T-Mobile Arena yeah the support out there was really amazing you know so I was I’m glad I was able to go out there put on the show but I just knew I had to let these hands fly last last fight I didn’t so I I made that adjustment and the fight before you Daniel el Huer you guys before we’re taking pictures together and I know that you both train out of Las Vegas maybe not at the same gym but you had a cute little moment over there with your taking the photo how much of an impact does the person before you fighting getting a massive finish like he did then you get to walk right after the crowd super hyped up what is that like as you head into the Octagon yeah he’s a really cool guy I got to meet him more this week um he was like my buddy this week uh like doing the conference together running into each other man and you know like us meic people like we’re all cool with everybody so we got really along and I was just happy for him seeing him get the job done like that and I knew it was my tun to show up and I did now fighting Sports have had a really long history of Mexican Independence Day in Las Vegas and now you’re a part of that history with this amazing event what was it like to be a part of the event not just tonight but all week yeah I was blessed a lot of things were done different and like I said this night tonight is going to go down into history books cuz it’s never been done before usually it’s a boxing event so I just wanted my fight to be remembered tonight like when they look back and they’re like the first UFC event that was done on Mexican Independence Day and they’re going to remember my fight definitely well when can we see expect to see you back um as soon as possible I’m going to go back and talk to my manager my team and whenever they want me back I’ll be back in there great well we will let you get to celebrating thank you so much thank you so much
